Side Swipers First Game

Natalie had her very first Soccer game yesterday! Her team the Side Swipers did really well, and we had a blast watching the 4-6 yr olds running around chasing the ball. Its definitely mass chaos when there are that many little kids running around. Natalie really liked the game, and can't wait for her second game. The only trouble we have is that Natalie wants to play with her friends who are on the other team, so at one point she was running down the field holding her friend Adriana's hand. Its was hilarious.....

21 weeks and OB Appointment

I had an OB appointment today. 21 weeks and I am up 15 lbs. That is 10 lbs more than I was with Natalie, but the doctor said it was normal. However, he told me not to gain 8 lbs in a month again. I think the fact I tore the ligaments in my ankle didn't help. You can't do much when your foot is in a boot/cast.

He went over the results of Emery's ultrasound. All was good. Her heart has four chambers is functioning properly, her brain is good, her bones are good, but her kidneys are dilated. Right now he said they will watch her and when she is born they will give her another ultrasound and do some tests on her. He told me not to worry that most babies will resolve themselves, but just wanted to prepare me. I hope all goes well and her Kidneys function at a normal level!!

Ballet, Pre-K and Soccer Oh My!!

Natalie is certainly a busy girl, and thankfully that means Mommy has activities to keep her occupied! That I am thankful for. I am just not cut out to stay at home all the time and maintain a house. I would prefer a maid that cleans, cooks and does laundry. However, that is not the case in Korea, so I will make do. To avoid being bored, I have put my daughter in every activity that I am able.

M/W/F 9:00-1:00 - Pre-K
M/W 5:30-6:30 - Soccer Practice
T 2:00-2:30 - Ballet
Sat Soccer game day!! :) Her games are only 24 min consisting of 4 6 min quarters so as to keep them occupied and with shorter periods they will have a tendency to not get as bored. No scores are kept and there are no goalies!

That leaves only a couple of days left for Mommy to actually do things! I wouldn't mind putting Natalie in more activities, but her dad thinks thats not the wisest idea!!

All ready for Ballet Class!
Dancing with her friend Adriana

Long Long Overdue Update

I do apologize for not updating her blog lately and I wish I had a good excuse but I don't. I can honestly say its pure laziness or my adjustment to Korea, but I can't seem to do anything. However, I will try to keep this blog updated more regularly. Here is an update of things that have been going on:

1. Natalie is doing really well. She will be starting Pre-K 3 days a week this coming week. I am looking forward to the 4 hour break on M/W/F.
2. Natalie is taking Ballet class Tuesday afternoons at Osan the Airforce Base.
3. Soccer will be starting on September 9. Her first game will be September 19. Her Jersey number is #7 just like her Yay-Yay.
4. We found out baby #2 is a GIRL!!! Emery Grace is set to make her debut on or about January 23, 2010 almost 5 years to the day that Natalie made her grand entrance. Now I am hoping for a December baby! :)
