We're Engaged!

This past weekend, I went to visit Rick in Columbia, SC.  Once I got there, we went to Charleston. Rick had booked us a hotel on the Isle of Palms, near Charleston.  We had a couples massage, and then went and took a walk on the beach before dinner. While we were walking and watching the sun set, Rick PROPOSED!!!  I said YES!  We then had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant.  Sunday, we went to Charleston and walked around the historic downtown. What a beautiful city!

Grapevine Parade

Once again, Natalie and I headed to Grapevine for a night of fun!  There was a parade down Main Street and we really enjoyed ourselves.  It was a cold and windy night, but that didn't stop us from watching all the floats and waiting to see Santa. Natalie really enjoyed herself and tomorrow we are off to the North Pole Express Train ride.

Update

Hello everyone!

Its been a while since I updated the site with any pictures! I will be updating it this weekend. The reason for my lack of posts, I have not taken any pictures.  Shocking isn't it!  I keep forgetting to take my camera with me.  However, Natalie and I are going to a parade tonight and a tree lighting.

Friday, we are going to ride the Polar Express in our PJs (well Natalie will be in hers) while we drink hot chocolate and converse with Santa Claus. I think Natalie will be in heaven!

Saturday morning, we are going to have breakfast with Santa, then we are off to Austin but we couldn't miss breakfast with Santa!

So as you can see we will have plenty of picture opportunities.

Thanksgiving was wonderful. We went to Liberty Hill. Natalie got to spend the whole week there as her school was out for the week. Rick and I came down on Thursday after I picked him up from the airport at 8 a.m.  We got to feast on smoked turkey, sweet potatoes, beans, stuffing, the works. It was good time.

Friday I returned to DFW to take Rick to the airport Sat morning at 6:00 a.m. It was a short trip for him, but definitely nice to see him.  I then returned to Liberty Hill and went to Marble Falls walkway of lights with the entire family.

Sunday, Nat and I headed back to DFW only to make it and realize that we left our house keys in Liberty Hill. We then turned around and met MomMom and DadDad in Stephenville to get the keys! What a long weekend!!

Pippy Longstocking

Natalie has a pair of tights, that she has had since she was 2.  She absolutely loves them.  Ms. Abigail gave them to her, and they have tickled her fancy ever since.  This weekend, I found this cute little cotton dress at Target, and it just so happened that the tights matched it.  Of course, this meant that Natalie got to wear the tights with the dress, but we can't forget to mention the Ugg Boots!  She is definitely a fashion diva! :)

Fancy Nancy

Oh La la! Natalie LOVES Fancy Fancy, a cute little story about a girl who loves being fancy.  The stories are cute and funny, and great for little girls.  This morning before school, Natalie was pretending to be Fancy Nancy.  I got some cute pics of her, and wanted to share.

And yes, those are her natural curls. I let her wear pig tails yesterday and I wound them up before bedtime. When we awoke, inta curls!

Tea Party

Who can resist the request of a little girl to have a PicNic and Tea Party?  I sure can't and apparently neither can a grown man! :)

Getting ready to give him his dinner.

Pumpkin Carving

We carved the Pumpkin last night.  Natalie really had fun, and so did we.  Yes, Natalie is wearing the same clothes from Monday. Apparently, the little girl wanted to wear them two days in a row.  Good thing for washers! :)

Final Product.  Our pumpkin is special, but Natalie loves it!
