Gabby Gabs

Big Big Bows

Mom thinks I look cute with the BIG BIG bows on my head,
(aren't I a doll?)
but I seem to think that I am cute without the bows.  Look at me admiring my self in the mirror.
Busted, oh well I will smile for you Mom.

Behind every successful woman...

is a basket of dirty laundry.

apparently Natalie thought Gabby needed to be cleaned!!!  (or Gabby wanted free transportation)

A message from Gabby

Sleep?

How do we get  Gabby to sleep better? That is the million dollar question in our house.  She will not sleep past 4 am, which is amazing!!!  She will not take naps longer than 30 min, and now she will scream when its bedtime even though she is tired. I have let her cry it out for an hour and no success.  Any suggestions??

Tae Kwon Do Tournament- 3rd Place Champ

This past weekend Natalie had a Tae Kwon Do tournament near the North Korean Border.  I think we might have been about 15 min from the DMZ!!!  Regardless of that, she was extremely excited for her first contest.  We had to leave at 5:30 in the morning and drive 3 hours to the competition.  Driving in Korea is definitely not a leisurely 3 hour drive down I-35.  We arrived at the gymnasium around 8:45 and the kids got all set up.  Natalie didn't compete until noon, but she had fun watching the other kids compete.  The Korean children are like ballerinas performing Martial Arts. Its amazing!  Natalie was competing with the "colored" belts, i.e. those belts that are not black.  She was the lowest colored belt but ended up placing 3rd in her age bracket! Way to go little girl! She has a huge competitive spirit, not sure if its a mixture of her mother or her father, but either way its adorable. I think I might have been more nervous for her performance than she was. I thought I was going to hurl I was so anxious!

Dressed and ready to go!

At the end of the night Natalie was putting on a show for Gabby and Gabby was cracking up.

Gabby 6 months

Gabby is six months old and the same size Natalie was at 9 months. Just that visual alone makes me realize how TINY Natalie was and that Gabby is your average sized baby!  Up until now we have shared the same size clothes wonderfully, but since Gabby entered 6/9 months clothes at 6 months and Natalie entered them in winter, her winter clothes are not working out so well in the Korea Heat! :)  Gabby has two bottom teeth and is working on cutting her top teeth as we speak. Poor little dear is in lots of pain with a swollen mouth.  She is not crawling but can roll around the room at lightening speed and get stuck under the couch which I find quite humorous.  She is fully of spunk and personality, but will let you know when she has had enough loving, as she is not always keen to be cuddled! (Just like Momma).

See my toothy Grin!

Rub a dub dub, Gabby Beth is in the tub.  (no she does not have a lot of hair, yes its the same amount that she had at birth, not sure how that happened)

Sisters

My mom sent Natalie this adorable red gingham ladybug sundress and it just so happened that Natalie also had an outfit similar as an infant which we saved and is now in Gabby's wardrobe. The only difference is that the outfit was a 6/9 month size and slightly too big, but she wore it anyways....I love the matchy matchy look!!

Chanel Sunglasses

There is nothing better in this world than a fabulous pair of sunglasses, that one pair of amazing shoes and a sensational bag.  Fortunately for me Korea has two of the three (well at least for me).  Fabulous glasses and sensational bags are at my very fingertips.  I would be able to acquire some amazing shoes, but my feet are slightly too big for Korean sizes (not to mention my body).  Gabby has decided that she herself has a love for some amazing glasses.  She was playing ever so nicely on the mat when she spotted an amazing pair of Chanel sunglasses.  With the target in sight she managed to roll and wiggle her little self to prize.  Finally, she got them in her reach, not to mention moving off the rug onto the tile floor.

Yum Yum Chanel

I got stuck under the couch!!!

Not too thrilled that I picked her up and moved her away from the Chanel Glasses.  Who do you think she looks like more now that she has gotten bigger? Me or Rick?

My beautiful girls!!!  The contrast in Natty's tan skin vs. Gabby's stark white...

Look Mom!!!  Do you think she dropped her?  I think not!!!  Though Daddy wasn't too thrilled that I let Natalie carry her across the carpet.
