This past weekend we took Natalie Roller Skating for the first time. There was an Army Social Function that we went to at the local roller rink. It has been years since I skated on your traditional skates. I have been a Roller Blader, but it was fun to go back to traditional skates. Natalie did well, but like the ice skating adventure, had difficulties keeping her balance and got freaked out! This would up in tears, so we changed from regular skates to fisher price skates that her shoes went in. This worked much better; however, Natalie was more excited to play on the indoor play gym with other boys and girls than she was to skate!
