Field Day 2012
Natalie participated in Field Day this year at Humphreys American School.  She really enjoys field day and it reminds me of my childhood and elementary school field days.  However, they no longer award ribbons for places because now days everyone is a "winner!".

My little runner in the relay race. I love how her tongue is always out.

Looking over her shoulder to see who was approaching her.  Once again that tongue is out.

This little piggy went to market...

Sack race.  I made sure that mop top of hers was out of her face.

Such smiles.

Interesting relay, but she liked it.

Henley must not have found the field day as entertaining as her sisters.

Sharing juice with her older sister.

Gabby wanted in on the action so her sister was showing her how the next activity went.

Gabby was always close behind.

Seriously, where did she get those lips???

Marching to the beat

While trying to empty the dishwasher we thought we would show Henley how to make music with a wooden spoon and pan.  Gabby joined in and we soon had a band.  Here the girls are starting their band,

They have the hang of it now...

Well I guess they rocked it a little too hard. This is the end result. Apparently Henley thought throwing the tupperware around was much more enjoyable.

After bringing up the groceries Henley crawled under the shopping cart and got stuck.  She was screaming her head off in this picture. Too Funny.

Stuck Henny.

we also grew sponge dinosaurs in water.

Gabby was mesmerized with the growing sponges.  Such a fun little tool to keep her entertained.

Make New Friends...

But keep the old, one is silver and the other gold. Natalie had her bridging ceremony from Daisy's to Brownies this past week. She was so proud of herself and she can't wait to become a brownie.

"On my honor..." Natalie was leading the pledge

Here she is getting her patches she earned this year

Getting her pin.

Bridging over into Brownies. Gabby was an honorary brownie

My little Brownie.

All the little girls who bridged into Brownies from Daisy's

This little girl ate cheetos and was in hog heaven.  Her face clearly reflects that.

Tea party after the ceremony and these two are enjoying themselves

9 months of Henley.
Miss Henley Grace turned 9 months on May 2nd. She is a smiley little girl with a side of spunk.  She is crawling everywhere has 8 teeth, claps when you ask her too, waves and has just started babbling Mama and gaga.  She has had 8 ear infections, the flu, roseola and mild pneumonia all her first 9 months of life. Needless to say we have spent lots of time at the doctors.  She is scheduled for tubes June 14 and we hope that this will help the poor girl out.

Weight:  24 lbs 4 oz
Height: 29.2 inches

Hawaii 2012

**I thought I should give some commentary besides just pictures. Nice, I know.  Typical us, spur of the moment decision to take a free governement funded trip to hawaii and stay in a government funded hotel. Nice!  So without much planning we were off. We pulled Natalie out of school for a few days and we enjoyed a break from this dreadful country we reside in.

In the airport. All the Asian airports have play areas for toddlers!!

This is what she did, but I admit she had some help. We owe the doc a drink for that! :)

The pool had this giant bean bag float thing. Nat loved it.

Where is Henley? Or Where is Waldo?

Dave and Busters fun.  Gabby got so excited playing a game she peed everywhere!!!

Shout out to Miss Daisy who graciously shared her 2T clothes with Gabby! That box of clothes was very handy.

Aww Sisterly love

She thought she was a mermaid. Yes, the can not be in the sun light without glasses. It might be time for a trip to the optometrist to see why her eyes swell and water when in sunlight.

Need I saw anything on this picture other than AWWWWW (on a side note the sun and sand must have done her some good because in 13 days she gained 2 lbs!! Oh the fatness)

Spooning sisters
Watch the Hangover and you will laugh just like I did.

Still cracks me up seeing Rick with Henley.

Cheers for our family. We tried rock paper scissors to see who got the lighter child, but it was a tie. They weigh the same! I did win because its easier to hike with 25 pounds on your back than dangling from your chest.  Sucker!!!

Rick had a college pal in town with his 3 daughters and wife. We went hiking with them and to Pearl Harbor one day.  I could have gotten rich off the number of comments we received regarding the number of girls we have. Yes, we have 3 girls ages 8 months, 2 and 7. They have 3 girls ages 9, 6 1/2 and 3 1/2. Yes, we know that is a lot of girls. Yes, the teenage years will be interesting. Yes, there is lots of pink. Yes, we might try again, but don't hold your breath because 3 kids fit in a car! Any more and we have to upgrade! LOL.

They love each other and hate each other in the same breath.

Gosh her smile makes me smile.

This man cannot get enough of his girls

Waiting to go into Pearl Harbor.

Best family shot we could get. Poor Natalie looks a little special.  I like to build a collection of pictures of my kids looking off.  Gabby she was "crying" her poor eyes.

She is always smiles.

This man was a Pearl Harbor survivor and just completed a book. Rick and Natalie met him while I was changing a kid and got him to sign the book.  Definitely great if you are a history buff like Rick. Natalie doesn't look as happy as Rick. Guess she isn't into history either!

U.S.S. Arizona

The girls became Junior Park Rangers after completing a scavenger hunt around Pearl Harbor learning facts about Pearl Harbor, the tragedy and World War II. After completing their booklets they returned to the Park Ranger where they were sworn in. I think we need to work on Right and Left Hand for Gabby. She was raising her "right" hand to be sworn in.

Ladies Man.....

Nothing sweeter than a snow cone.

Evening walk after dinner

We really need to work on their tree climbing skills. When I was her age I could scale a tree. These trees were amazing and perfect for climbing. Neither girl would go any higher.  Guess Mom will have to teach them to climb a tree.  Or better yet, MomMom.
